Mohanlal To Make A Telugu Comeback

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will mark his return to Telugu cinema after two decades in the role of a policeman in the upcoming rural romantic-drama Nuvve Na Pranamani.

The film features debutant Suraj and Kavita Radheshyam in the lead.

"It's a rural love story laced with action and drama. Mohanlal sir is playing a very strong role of a policeman. It will be an honor for me to share screen space with him," Kavita informed.

To be directed by debutant Suresh Vamshi, the film also features Ali, Jayaprakash Reddy and a host of other supporting actors.

Mohanlal's last appearance in Telugu filmdom was in 1994 film "Gandeevam". He did a cameo song in the film, which was directed by his Malayalam counterpart Priyadarshan.

It is known that Telugu audience always welcomes talent from any language and we have to see how well the actor will be received after these many years.
