Puri-Charmi's Jyothi Lakshmi From March 1st

Charmi Kaur, who has been in the industry from more than 12 years, still manages to get meaty roles along with some hot item numbers. Recently, Puri Jagannadh made it official that his next film is with Charmi Kaur and it is titled as Jyothi Lakshmi. The energetic team is not taking anytime for pre-production and are ready to go on floors from March 1st.

Sunil Kashyap has been roped to score the tunes and P.G.Vinda as the cinematographer. Puri is keen on completing the film in a month and moving to towards his project with Varun Tej.

Charmi will be seen adorning the title role and it is going to be a heroine centric flick. Puri Jagannadh, who usually portray strong hero characterizations, is handling a woman-oriented subject for the first time.

As the expectations are already high, there are many speculations pouring in that this film is a biopic of yesteryear actress Jyothi Lakshmi. However, Puri and Charmi are yet to give a clarification on the ongoing rumors.

The other reason for Charmi to be excited about this project is, she is going to present the film for the first time. Along with producer C Kalyan, Charmi is also taking up the production responsibilities of the film.

Jyothi Lakshmi is indeed a crucial film for Charmi, who is suffering with a series of flops. Recently, Puri has given a career best film for NTR and Let us see if Puri can get some good luck for Charmi too.
