Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu has been the tough competitors of Telugu industry and their films happen to lock heads at the box office most of the time. But off the screen, Ram Charan always shows his liking for Mahesh Babu in his talks. Now, in a latest interview, he hints about following Mahesh Babu in future.
Talking to a leading English daily, Ram Charan confessed that he has learnt a lesson from remaking the film, Zanjeer and will probably never do a remake in future. This statement of Ram Charan has brought in the comparison between the stars.
Mahesh Babu has an aversion towards remakes and he has openly stated many times that he would never do remakes in his career. Mahesh always says that he doesn't understand the idea of remake and doesn't like to spoil the original.
Ram Charan also stated a similar opinion on remaking a Kannada film, he was offered. "I was approached to do a remake of Mr and Mrs Ramachari, but I declined it, as I didn't want to tamper with the original. I learnt my lesson with Zanjeer and so, I don't wish to do remakes when the original itself is brilliant. Adaptations and extensions though are fine." said Ram Charan.
