Court Issue: Shruti Haasan To Pay Back Largely For PVP

It is known that a criminal and civil charge has been initiated against Shruti Haasan by producer Prasad V Potluri, for backing out of his next venture. The film starring Nagarjuna and Karthi in the direction of Vamsi Padipally was supposed to have Shruti in the female lead, but she has taken a back in the last minute.

Recently, an official statement from both the parties was sent to media, that the case has been solved out of the court and now Shruti Haasan is free from the case. However, the settlement in the back end has led Shruti Haasan to pay back a huge amount along with an item song.

Though Shruti Haasan and PVP are mum about the settlement details, sources close to them revealed that, Shruti Haasan has agreed to pay back the advance she has received for the film along with a fine of 8 lakhs, which comes up to 18 Lakhs.

Along with the cash, Shruti Haasan was also asked to act in an item song in the movie Size Zero. It is also being bankrolled by PVP, in the direction of Prakash Kovelamudi, while Anushka plays the lead role.

Initially Shruti was supposed to do just a cameo role in the film, but as part of the settlement, an item song has been added and Shruti Haasan reportedly allotted 4 days of her dates for the song shoot. Looks like, her desire to pair opposite Ajith has costed her more.
