Chennai Rains! Tollywood Heroes Comes Forward To Help, Donates Huge To CM Relief Fund

Just when we thought Tollywood heroes are maintaining a bizarre silence on Chennai floods, many of our large-hearted heroes had come forward to offer an aid to the rain-hit Chennai.

NTR, Allu Arjun, Mahesh babu, Ravi Teja, Kalyan Ram, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Sundeep Kishan and Sampoornesh Babu haD donated lakhs of rupees to Tamilnadu CM relief fund.

While Sampoornesh Babu was the first one to take the initiative from Telugu film fraternity, NTR and Kalyan Ram followed next in the order and apparently most of our heroes had lend their helping hand.

Allu Arjun also took to twitter to recall his attachment with the city. "I would like to donate 25 lakhs to Chennai Flood relief ! I spent 18yrs of my Early life there It made me who I am today. I love u Chennai.", he tweeted.

NTR tweeted to give a call to his friends and fans to do their bit for the rain-hit Chennai. "#PrayforChennai it's time to be humans by helping each other when nature tests our integrity. I request everyone to help the needed in the best ways possible.am gonna do mine", read a tweet from him.

While we are yet to hear from Mega heroes, Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan, young mega talents, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej announced their part of donations for Tamilnadu CM Relief fund.

Mahesh Babu though stayed calm about the whole devastation, he has done his bit. Ravi Teja conveyed his grief through Facebook. "Shocked and saddened at the natural calamity engulfing Chennai. This is the time to stand in support for our fellow citizens. I did my bit #‎PrayForChennai‬",shared the actor on his official Facebook page. Mahesh Babu donated 10 Lakhs to Tamilnadu CM relief fund.

Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun not only donated 25 Lakhs for the city, but has also changed his twitter display picture to the flood-hit area of Chennai, to spread the word about Chennai's devastation.

Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja donated 5 Lakhs to Tamilnadu CM relief fund.

Sai Dharam Tej

"I'll be donating 3 lakhs worth of food,medical supplies and clothing for the needy through my chennai friends. #ChennaiRainsHelp",the actor tweeted.

Varun Tej

Varun Tej donated 3 Lakhs for the rain-hit Chennai. "Let us all pray for the victims and survivors of #ChennaiFloods and hope they overcome this calamity...Let us all do the needful!..", the actor tweeted.

NTR was the first among star heroes to come forward to offer aid. The actor donated 10 Lakhs to Tamilnadu CM relief fund.

Kalyan Ram

Kalyan Ram donated 5 Lakhs to Tamilnadu CM relief fund.

Sundeep Kishan

"Sending out 5000 Food Packets to affected areas in Chennai from my house there..pls do your Bit..Timely Help is the greatest help ever..", the actor tweeted.

Sampoornesh Babu

The actor donated 50K to Tamilnadu CM relief fund two days ago and is the first to address Chennai floods from the Telugu industry.
