Talking
at
a
private
event
in
Eluru,
V
V
Vinayak
apologized
his
fans
and
Akkineni
fans
for
the
failure
of
Akhil.
He
admitted
that
the
film
had
many
flaws
and
the
mistakes
from
his
side
are
evident.
Vinayak
reportedly
said
that
he
made
a
blunder
with
Akhil
and
requested
the
audience
as
well
as
film
fraternity
to
excuse
for
the
loss,
while
he
assured
to
bounce
back
with
a
super
hit
with
his
next
film.
He
further
added
that
every
director
tends
to
commit
mistakes
after
a
while
and
opined
that
expect
Rajamouli
every
top
director
went
through
a
low
phase.
Talking
openly
for
the
first
time
about
the
film's
debacle,
V
V
Vinayak
expressed
his
regret,
going
on
a
wrong
path
in
handling
the
film
but
stressed
the
point
that
he
thought
it
would
be
a
perfect
story
for
launching
a
hero
of
Akhil's
stature.
Apparently,
many
reports
informed
that
Vinayak
has
also
plunged
into
save
few
distributors,
who
were
badly
affected
by
Akhil's
failure,
by
repaying
them
from
his
own
pocket.
The
reports
further
added
that
Vinayak
returned
half
of
his
pay
to
producers,
taking
the
responsibility
for
the
film's
poor
performance.
While
the
truth
in
the
reports
are
yet
to
be
confirmed,
V
V
Vinayak
is
gearing
up
to
direct
Chiranjeevi's
comeback
film.
Since
the
combination
delivered
a
blockbuster
like
Tagore
earlier,
the
yet
to
start
Kaththi
remake
has
already
garnered
huge
buzz.
Let
us
give
it
some
time
and
see
how
far
Vinayak
keeps
up
his
promise
and
Chiru's
faith
in
him.
