Venkatesh Stands With Aamir Khan Regarding His Comments On Growing Intolerance In India

Victory Venkatesh, who always try to stay away from controversies, has spoke his mind regarding the on-going ruckus on Aamir Khan's statements on growing intolerance in India.

Talking with media during an event, Venkatesh opined that social networking sites are just blowing the issue out of proportion while media is encouraging it. He thinks Aamir Khan's statements are misunderstood and said he agrees with him.

It is known that Aamir Khan's comments on growing intolerance received a huge row on social networking sites and the actor was alleged for being 'anti-national'. Though there were people, who tried to see both the sides of the coin, the issue largely attracted hate.

Even after Khan clarifying on Wednesday that he and his wife loved India and had no intention of leaving the country, protesters and the media followed him after his remarks and Khan's security has been stepped up.

Also, Shiv Sena leaders had offered a cash prize of 1 Lakh, if anyone could slap the actor for being 'anti-national'. Many actors from Bollywood, Mollwyood, Kollywood and Sandalwood responded over the issue while Venkatesh being the first prominent actor to put out his opinion.
