The
unit
of
Nandamuri
Balakrishna's
100th
film,
Gautamiputra
Satakarni
will
start
filming
for
an
epic
battle
sequence
in
their
latest
schedule
in
Georgia
from
Monday.
"We
will
be
shooting
these
scenes
at
Mt.
Kazbek
in
Georgia,
and
this
portion
will
feature
over
1000
soldiers,
300
horses
and
20
chariots.
These
scenes
will
be
blended
with
computer
graphics
to
enhance
the
overall
effect",
film's
director
Krish
revealed.
Ever
since
Rajamouli
fashioned
huge
battles
in
Telugu
films
with
Magadheera
and
upped
its
quotient
in
Baahubali,
the
grandeur
bug
has
seriously
caught
up
with
Telugu
film
makers
and
nobody
seems
to
be
ready
to
compromise
in
getting
the
best
output.
This
in
fact
a
good
sign.
Balakrishna
plays
a
Satavahana
ruler
in
the
film,
which
also
stars
Shriya
Saran,
Hema
Malini
and
Kabir
Bedi.
"It's
the
battle
of
Satavahanas
versus
Greeks.
The
film
features
three
such
battle
sequences,"
the
director
further
said.
Produced
by
Y.
Rajeev
Reddy,
the
film
is
slated
to
hit
the
screens
around
January
next
year.
