Brahmotsavam First Day (Opening) Box Office Collections, Area-wise Break Up

Brahmotsavam, which hit screens the other day, amidst the fans galore and huge expectations, failed to spin magical numbers at the box-office on the first day, which came as a huge shock even for the trade pundits.

Brahmotsavam managed to have its name written at the fourth place in the list of all time opening day collections in AP & TS. But, this is bothering the distributors and buyers, largely, as the pre-release business was close to 80 crores.

Since the film came immediately after the humongous success of Srimanthudu, distributors pinned high hopes on the movie to churn money at the box office. However, it failed to reach Srimanthudu's record as well, which is at the third place in the list of first day collections.

In USA, Brahmotsavam collected $557K (149 Locs), which is also less than Sardaar, Srimanthudu and Baahubali. In AP & TS, Baahubali stands at first place and Sardaar Gabbar Singh in the second position followed by Srimanthudu and Brahmotsavam.
