Brahmotsavam Pre-release Business, Brand Mahesh Babu Mints 76 Crores

Just like a popular dialogue from Mahesh Babu's Business Man, Mahesh is not just a name anymore, but a brand. Apparently, that brand name is making the makers of Brahmotsavam, mint huge money, even before the audio and theatrical trailer launch of the movie.

Going by the trade circles, Mahesh's Brahmotsavam was sold for 76.8 Cr Worldwide, also considering the craze attainted because of its ensemble cast and crew.

Producer PVP must be the happy man now. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film's Nizam rights were alone sold for whopping 21 Cr, which is a huge number in the recent times. Go through the slides below for the detailed area-wise break up of Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam pre-release business.

Nizam

Abhishek pictures acquired the rights for 21 Crores.

Ceeded

Pakala Murali said to have bought the rights of Ceeded for 9 Cr.

UA

Uttarandra rights were bought by S V Cinemas for 5.60 Cr.

Guntur & Krishna

Guntur and Krishna rights were bagged by S creations for 8 Cr.

West Godavari

West Godavari rights were taken by Manikante for 5 Cr.

East Godavari

East Godavari rights were taken by LVR for 4.20 Cr.

Nellore

Nellore -2.5 Cr by Bhaskar Reddy.

KA & ROI

Brahmotsavam rights were sold for 7 Cr in Karnataka and 1.5 Cr in rest of India.

Overseas

Overseas by Classic Entertainments for 13 Cr.

Co-starring Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Pranitha Subash, Brahmotsavam is about the family values and traditions, which puts through the point that life is a celebration when we have a huge family to support.

Considering its highly appealing content to the family audiences, Brahmotsavam is touted to be the perfect summer release. The film will have its audio release on 7 May and it is likely to release on 20 May. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
