Chiranjeevi Admitted In Mumbai Hospital For Shoulder Surgery

"Megastar Chiranjeevi will undergo a minor shoulder surgery at a private hospital in Mumbai, on Thrusday", said a source close to the actor.

"It's a very minor surgery. Over the last few months, he's been struggling with some pain in his shoulder. He has finally decided to get it operated as he starts shooting for his next film from March, and doesn't want the pain to aggravate," the source added.

He has been advised rest for two weeks post-surgery. From the last week of March, Chiranjeevi will start shooting for the yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi.

However, it is only a minor surgery. In the meanwhile, Ram Charan, who is producing the remake of Kaththi, would fix the issues surrounding the project. The actor-son will be negotiating with the makers of Kaththi to compensate to the young writer Narasimha, who filed a case in the writers association to halt the works of the remake, claiming to have penned the original story.

Apparently, Dasari Narayana Rao, the charmian of the association ordered for a non-coopertion from the unions to the film, until the issue is resolved. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan too have extended their support for the writer, who is fighting for the justice and has promised that they would only go ahead with the shooting after he gets his due. So, before Chiranjeevi gets back to normalcy, the stage is being set for his comeback film.
