Raj Tarun has been roped in as the replacement for Sai Dharam Tej in writer-turned-director Satish Vegesna's Shatamanam Bhavati.
Apparently, Dil Raju, who is producing the film, has given a clarity on why he thought the film needs Raj Tarun but not Sai Dharam Tej. The outspoken producer opined that the film would fetch unwanted attention if it has Sai Dharam Tej on board.
Raju, who is also producing Supreme with Sai Dharam Tej right now, feels the actor would be recognized more like a star post the release of the film, and thinks that it is a risk to cast him in an experimental subject like Shatamanam Bhavati.
Dil Raju added that the film will be an opt one for Raj Tarun, who is trying to make a place for himself in the industry, and Tej would be past the phase, after Supreme. It apparently shows the producer's confidence on Supreme as well as on the actor. It is not too long to wait and see how his judgement turn out to be, though.
Had Tej worked on this project, it would have been his fourth film in a row with producer Raju after Pilla Nuvvu Lenu Jeevitham, Subramanyam for Sale and Supreme. Meanwhile, Raj Tarun is currently busy with three projects in his kitty.
