Mahesh Babu Did Not Recommend Suriya For 24

Mahesh Babu, who is busy promoting his upcoming release Brahmotsavam, revealed that, what is being reported in media is false regarding 24. If you recall, reports were afloat that it was Mahesh, who suggested Suriya for 24 as Vikram Kumar first offered it to the superstar.

However, Mahesh trashed the reports and said that he did not recommend Suriya for the film, but it has gone to him, since the script needed him. "Though I loved the script, when Vikram narrated it to me, I couldn't somehow picture myself in the film. I knew it will be a good film", he said.

"I'm really glad Suriya did 24. I have watched the film and felt only Suriya could pull it off", Mahesh added.

It is known that Mahesh Babu will be working with Vikram Kumar for one his future projects, but he remained light lipped about it. Meanwhile, Brahmotsavam is releasing on 20 May and Mahesh as well as his team are pretty confident about the output.

"We are not promising anything the film is not, Brahmotsavam is exactly what the trailer showcased and I'm sure it will attract its audience", Mahesh repeatedly stressed the point.
