Nithya Menen Bags Two Crazy Projects

Nithya Menen, who had a fruitful year with five releases last year in Telugu, is gearing up for another exciting year ahead. If the sources are to be believed, the actress has signed the dotted line to romance NTR in his next, under the direction of Koratala Siva.

The project has been tentatively titled as Janatha Garage and the makers are yet to finalize the other female lead, while Nithya Menen is roped in to play the second lead. Samantha and Shruti Haasan are rumored to be in the race to bag the role.

On the other hand, sources also inform that Nithya has been chosen to play the third female lead in the remake of Premam, co-starring Naga Chaitanya, Anupama Parameshwaran and Shruti Haasan. Though several names popped up earlier, it is Nithya Menen, who reportedly got into the shoes, to reprise the role played by Madonna Sebastian in the original.

Looks like Nithya is on the verge of taking up more commercial projects and star alongside the mainstream heroes. There is no doubt that she can strike a balance between offbeat films and commercial cinema. We hope the reports come out to be true, good luck Nithya.
