Pawan Kalyan Takes Cost Cutting Seriously Post Sardaar's Debacle

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is apparently taking an active part in deciding his film's casting and in dealing other production responsibilities, though he is not one of the producers for the film. Directed by S J Suryah, the film will feature Ajay as the main baddie.

Though Tollywood is going gaga over imported villain's or hero-turned-villain's, Pawan Kalyan is preferring to go with the local talent, by casting Ajay as the main antagonist; and it is learnt that the actor felt bulking up the budgets for the sake of fresh faces or big names is not a great thing to do.

If the reports are any true, Pawan Kalyan is personally taking care of pre-production of the film, in order to bring in profits for his good friend and producer, Sharrath Marar, who has lost around 8 Crs after producing Sardaar.

The team is looking forward to go on floors next month and wrap the shoot before October, in a single schedule, which will keep the budgets in control. Hence, a strong pre-production is going on.

Also featuring Shruti Haasan, the film will have Anup Rubens' tunes and writer Akula Siva is working on the script along with director S J Suryah.
