Going
by
the
grapevine,
Ram
Charan
charged
a
whopping
amount
of
1
Crore
to
dance
at
IIFA
Utsavam,
which
happened
a
couple
of
days
ago
in
Hyderabad.
The
award
night,
which
honored
the
talents
across
South
Indian
cinema,
managed
to
fetch
great
attention
by
roping
in
stars
like
Ram
Charan
and
Akhil
Akkineni
to
perform
live.
This
marks
the
first
ever
stage
performance
of
both
the
mega
and
Akkineni
scions.
Apparently,
Akhil
charged
around
40
lakhs
for
his
act.
Ram
Charan
was
seen
spending
almost
a
week
of
his
time
in
rehearsals,
for
the
7
minute
dance
performance,
in
which
Tamannaah
is
also
a
part.
IIFA
Utsavam
was
conducted
as
a
fund-raiser
for
the
rain
hit
Chennai
and
the
organisers
garnered
huge
with
the
show
turning
out
to
be
a
major
hit.
IIFA
donated
one
Crore
to
the
relief
fund
of
Tamilnadu
CM,
besides
paying
fancy
to
the
stars,
who
performed
at
the
event.
Tamannaah,
Taapsee,
Adah
Sharma,
Shiva
RajKumar,
Jeeva
and
some
other
actors
and
actresses
have
also
set
the
stage
on
fire
at
IIFA
Utsavam,
pocketing
a
bomb.
Nevertheless,
the
star
presence
of
these
celebrities
brought
the
show
a
thumping
response,
which
will
now
be
tried
to
reprise
by
the
other
award
shows.
This
surely
has
opened
a
new
market
for
the
other
stars,
who
till
date
did
not
consider
performing
during
award
nights.
After
all,
it's
a
show
biz.
