The fresh crop of actors, Rana Daggubati, Akhil Akkineni and Rakul Preet Singh were seen doing odd jobs. If you are wondering what made them go on roads donning the new avatars, then tell us tell you. It is for a show, which is targeted to help public.

The stars are getting into the shoes of common man, to lift their spirit and help them to achieve their dreams. The unusual task was taken up for a new show called Memu Saitham, hosted by Lakshmi Manchu. The show will soon be aired on Gemini TV and many more actors and actress would be coming forward to extend their support.

A similar show was aired in a Hindi channel called Mission Sapne, hosted by Sonali Bendre. Stars came forward to do odd jobs like riding an auto rickshaw or selling something to earn money. The money was multiplied by 100 and was used to fulfill the dreams of many struggling citizens.

Apparently, Rana Daggubati turned a Coolie at Raithu Baazar, while Rakul Preet Singh sold vegetables. Akhil Akkineni drove an auto-rickshaw in Khammam and has even donated some money to help a kid, who is suffering with a kidney problem.

It is nice to see our T-town stars turning out to be some real heroes off-screen, by lending their helping hand to the needy.
