HOT NOW! Sai Dharam Tej Faces Chiranjeevi Fans' Ire

From the past few days, reports were afloat that, Sai Dharam Tej's upcoming film with director Gopichand Malineni would be titled as Gang Leader, which is named after Chiranjeevi's old blockbuster film.

Since the movie created many records in the past, Chiru is often referred with the title and it is pretty close to mega fans for the obvious reasons. Apparently, the rumor mill informed that, Sai Dharam Tej would want to use the title to attract mega fans' attention.

But, the news ended up drawing the ire of Chiranjeevi fans and has resulted in a controversy. The actor was bashed on social networking sites and was asked to drop the idea. Soon, mega fans started to trend the hashtag ChiruTheOnlyGangLeader, nationwide, to voice their disagreement.

However, a source close to Sai Dharam Tej released a statement that, none of his upcoming films were titled Gang Leader, putting the issue to rest.

In the past, it was a rage when SDT used Chiranjeevi's epithet 'Supreme Hero' in his film Subramanyam For Sale. His next film is titled 'Supreme' and Chiranjeevi's super hit song, 'Supreme Hero', is being remixed in the film, which further disappointed mega fans.

Looks like the 'supposed-to-be' plus points are going against the lad. Hope he is making a note.
