Suriya, who is already a household name in the Telugu land, now has the Telugities' respect, too. Though his philanthropic side is much popular in Tamilnadu, it is lesser known to the people of Telugu states.

The people, who loved him like a star till date, are now heaping praises after being touched by his humility. When we probed further into the reasons, we got to know about this kind act of the star.

Suriya has been shooting near Madanapalli, Andhra Pradesh for his upcoming film Singam 3, from a few days. After wrapping up the shoot for the day and returning to the hotel, he apparently saw an injured woman lying on the road, hit by an unknown vehicle.

He has reportedly sent the woman to a nearby hospital in his car, along with his driver and he left the place in a production van, which is travelling in the same route.

Later, Suriya has enquired about the lady's health and has taken up the responsibility to pay her hospital bills, after knowing her poor economic status.
