Will NTR Join The Elite Club Of 50 Cr With Nannaku Prematho?

NTR's Nannaku Prematho, which completed 10 days of its release, is still looking forward to join the élite club of 50 crores films. Though the superstars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Prabhas and Allu Arjun, managed to make place for themselves in the club long back, NTR is struggling to bag one 50 crores ilm.

Apparently, Nannaku Prematho, which opened to positive reviews and decent word of mouth, has all the ability to save NTR from the ongoing trolls. The film has garnered 45 crores approximately worldwide, and is yet to collect 5 crores to join the élite club of 50 Cr. But here comes the real trouble.

Overseas collections contributed a huge amount for the film by collecting close to 2 Million and putting the film at the third place, in the list of all time highest grossers in USA. Nannaku Prematho is just after Baahubali and Srimanthudu at USA box office. But, the snow storm in USA is now turning into a big negative for Nannaku Prematho, which is affecting the overseas collections.

Perhaps, the other good releases in the Sankranthi race, which are doing tremendous at the box office, ate into the collections of Nannaku Prematho in the local market. Though the team has started the promotions afresh, after 10 days of release, the less turn-up of audience at the theaters is worrisome.

So, we have to wait and see how the film will pull the extra 5 crores and keep its hero, Jr NTR in the safe zone. Needless say, it is a must for NTR to prove his stamina at the moment, as he is the only one lagging behind when compared to his peers, in terms of the box office potential.
