To douse the ongoing fire of the entire Bahubali movie episode in Karnataka, Tamil actor Sathyaraj has just released a video voicing out clarifications to different sections of people.

Addressing the camera by reading out the written prompts, Sathyaraj expressed the fact that a series of violence and stoppage of Tamil movie screenings happened in Karnataka nine years ago during the Hogenakkal issue and that, actors from either industry hit roads by taking the protest to a daylong fast.

He exclaimed that he had rendered the speech which is said to have hurt the sentiment of Kannadigas. He assured that he is not against Kannadigas or doesn't carry any such prejudiced feelings against them and that his close aide from the past 35 years, a Kannadiga, is a testimonial for the same.

He asserted that close to 30 of his movies including Bahubali Part 1 were released in the state of Karnataka without any obstacles and that he had as well received numerous offers from the Sandalwood industry which were declined due to the tight schedule of the 62-year-old actor.

He affirmed that he regrets the choice of words during his speech nine years ago which has evidently hurt the sentiment of Kannadigas and that they were not intentional. The actor as well stated his supporters, well-wishers and fellow Tamil citizens to not get the feel of being let down by the actor.

He shed light on the subject matter to the aforementioned section of people that his clarification is made to ensure that the technicians of Bahubali, the director of the magnum opus, SS Rajamouli, producers of the movie, theatre exhibitors and distributor of the Karnataka region are left least or not at all affected by his deeds as the Amaidhi Padai actor feels that he is just a tiny drop in a huge ocean called Bahubali.

He affirmatively urged producers, in general, to think before signing in the actor into any of their movies as he confirmed the fact that the belligerent actor would continue to voice out his opinions for social and sensitive issues and that should not pose a threat to any of the movies in future.

He requested Kannadigas to pave way for smoother release of Bahubali 2 by accepting his deep regrets, and as well thanked the Tamil cine artists association, the directors association, producers association and his well-wishers for reading his mind and understanding his feelings.

Katappa finally thanked SS Rajamouli and the producers of the movie, Shobhu and Prasad for undergoing distress due to the actor's actions.
