Allu Arjun To Star In The Telugu Remake Of This Recent Tamil Hit?

The charming Allu Arjun is one of the most talented young stars in Tollywood. He enjoys a pretty solid fan following thanks to to his lively screen presence, good looks, engaging performances and cool dancing skills. During his illustrious career, he has starred in quite a few successful films and this has established him as a synonym for success. Now, Bunny is in the limelight for an awesome reason. According to reports in the Telugu media, Allu Arjun might soon be roped in to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of the recent Kollywood hit 96.

Apparently, the DJ star has expressed a desire to star in the remake and might sign the film if the script turns out to be a good one. The director of the original version too has given some inputs and the buzz is that things will ultimately work out.

In case you did not know, 96 is a romantic-drama and it features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. It hit the screens on October 4, 2018, and emerged as a runaway hit. Shortly thereafter, Dil Raju purchased its remake rights. It was rumoured that Nani would star in the remake. However, he apparently turned it down.

On a related note, Allu Arjun was last seen in Naa Peru Surya. An action-drama, it bombed at the box office and failed to impress the critics. He is yet to officially announce his next film.
