The lovely Anu Emmanuel is one of the most talented and popular young stars in the Telugu film industry today. The pretty lady has carved a niche for herself in Tollywood thanks to her good looks, charming personality, friendly nature and sincere performances. She has also worked with some of the industry's biggest stars and proved that she has the potential to be an 'A-lister'. Now, she is in the news for a surprising reason.

As it so happens, during a recent promotional event, the actress spoke about the failure of her big film Agnyaathavaasi and indicated that she had reservations about signing the Pawan Kalyan starrer. Anu Emmanuel said that before signing the film she had asked Trivikram Srinivas to clarify whether her role would be similar to the one played by Pranitha in Attarintiki Daredi. She added that she signed the dotted line only after the director assured her that it would be a lead role and not a supporting one.
