Aravinda Sameta Box Office Update: Jr NTR's Film Beats Khaidi No 150; Sets A Non-Baahubali Record

According to a leading website, Aravinda Sametha's total share at the Karnataka box office currently stands at Rs 9.41 Crore. This is a non-Baahubali record and it proves that Tarak's popularity is not confined to the AP/TS region alone.
Aravinda Sametha Bets Khaidi No 150
In setting this record, Aravinda Sametha has outperformed the Chiranjeevi starrer Khaidi No 150. The Megastar's film had ended its share with a run with a share of Rs 9.2 Crore at the Karnataka box office. Needless to say, this is quite an achievement and it proves that Jr NTR is second to none.
Mixed Results
While the film's performance in Karnataka is phenomenal, the fact remains that it has not lived up to the expectations in the AP/TS belt. As reported earlier, Aravinda Sametha's Ceded distributor has lost nearly Rs 2 Crore. The Uttarandhra and East Godavari distributors too have suffered significant losses. As such, the the final results are a bit mixed.

Regardless of Aravinda Sametha's lacklustre performance, the fact the remains that it is a ladmark film for Jr NTR. Tarak managed to impress the fans with his act and proved that he is a bona fide A-lister. Needless to say, this bodes well for him and it might add to the curiosity surrounding his next film RRR in which he will be seen alongside the 'Mega Power Star' Ram Charan. The film was launched yesterday(November 12, 2018) and it's an SS Rajamouli directorial.
