DevaDas Teaser: Nagarjuna-Nani’s Film Promises To Be Fun-filled Affair

Earlier this year the much-loved Nagarjuna received some bad news when his eagerly-awaited Officer bombed at the box office and received unflattering reviews from all corners. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the cop-drama received flak for its weak screenplay and many felt that it was the worst film of Nag's career. Now, with Officer behind him, 'King' is back with his next film DevaDas. In an exciting development, the teaser of the film has been released and it is quite good.

In the teaser, Nagarjuna and Nani can be seen having a peg and enjoying themselves. The 'Natural Star' can be seen consuming his drink neat. As expected, the chemistry between the two is quite crackling and adds a new dimension to the teaser. It seems that DevaDas is going to be a light-hearted and fun-filled affair.

DevaDas is a multi-starrer and it has been directed by Sriram Aditya. Besides Nags and Nani, iy also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akansha Singh in the lead. The Geetha Govindam girl is paired opposite Nani while Akanksha is paired opposite the Criminal actor.

Some time ago, Nagarjuna had that with DevaDas he is venturing in to Rajkumar Hirani territory.

"This new film that I am doing with Nani is very much in the Rajkumar Hirani territory. I play a gangster and Nani plays my doctor. It is a very warm-hearted funny script. And I have a feeling that director Sriram Aditya will make something special out of it," he had told a leading daily.

DevaDas is slated to hit the screens on Septemer 27, 2018.
