Exclusive! Raai Laxmi: I Play A Sushmita Sen Like Character In My Next Film

The lovely Raai Laxmi is arguably one of the biggest and most popular stars in South cinema today. The pretty lady enjoys a strong fan following thanks to her good looks, charming personality and bold nature. Over the years, the young diva has worked with some of the biggest stars and this has established her as an integral part of the film industry. Now, here is some good news for all the Raai Laxmi out there.

During an EXCLUSIVE interview with Filmibeat, she spilled the beans on her upcoming films. Raai Laxmi said she will soon be seen in a Telugu comedy titled Where Is The Venkat Lakshmi?

"I will soon be beginning work on a Telugu film called Where Is The Venkat Lakshmi? It is a full comedy film and I'll be beginning work on it in two days. It has all the top young comedians of Telugu cinema. I play a character like Sushmita Sen from Main Hoon Na. It is a different comedy and is going to be directed by a newcomer," she added.

Raai Laxmi went on to add that she is also doing a Tamil horror film titled Cinderella. Revealing more about the film, the star said that she'll be playing a rockstar in it.

"There's a Tamil film called Cinderella. It is a horror film and I play a rockstar in it. The film is somehow connected to the Cinderella tale and this makes quite different from other horror films. It is bound to appeal to the kids," added Raai Laxmi.

On a related note, this is a busy time for Raai Laxmi. She will soon be seen opposite Mollywood Megastar Mammootty in Oru Kuttanadan Blog. She also has Neeya 2 in her kitty. It is a supernatural-thriller and also features Jai in the lead. Besides this, she is also doing a film with Anjali. It is a suspense-thriller loosely inspired by the Aarushi murder case.
