Taxiwala: Here Are Details Of Vijay Deverakonda's Gift To His Fans Post The Movie's Response!

After a roller-coaster experience right from the day the pirated version of Taxiwala got leaked, the entire team was on the edge of its seat until Saturday. The movie has received average to good reviews from both the critics and audience, while the response has been heartwarming; thanks to both the sympathy factor of piracy and Vijay Deverakonda's stardom.

Many celebrities came in support of the young team and especially Vijay Devarakonda post the piracy controversy. Rebel Star Prabhas, Megapower Star Ram Charan and Tamil Star Suriya expressed their solidarity over Twitter.

Success Meet

The team of Taxiwala roamed a couple of places to embrace the affection displayed by the audience and fans and one such place was Arjun Theatre in Hyderabad. Producer SKN, Director Rahul, Heroine Priyanka and Hero Vijay Devarakonda grabbed the microphone and offered unconditional thanks to the audience.

The rowdy boy raved about the love and affection showered by the audience and stated that he was indebted to their response. As a token of acknowledgement and giving back to the audience set, VD offered them to pamper their taste-buds in the theatre's canteen as much as their stomach demands and said that the bills would be borne by the team of Taxiwala.

This is the first time in the history of cinema where an actor was seen being so cool and interactive though there have been many theatre promotions in the past.

The first day was huge overall in terms of the box-office pull, as the movie grossed over 10 crore. Taxiwala achieved a break even in the overseas market on the very first day itself, as it was sold at a very nominal price while the domestic territory was an own release from the production house and hence, it doesn't quite qualify for statistical analysis.
