Sharwanand, who was last seen in Jaanu alongside Samantha Akkineni, is currently in the US as per media reports. While it was being said that the actor has zoomed off for a holiday, the real reason is something else. Well, Samantha's co-star has gone to the US so that he could undergo major shoulder surgery. Yes, you heard that right! Read on to know more details.
According to a report in telugu360.com, Sharwanand suffered a shoulder injury while shooting for Jaanu and the doctors advised him to undergo a surgery for the same. Since the 36-year-old actor was busy with his project, he couldn't treat his injury at the time. Also, the actor thought it would be best for him to go for the surgery after wrapping up his upcoming film Sreekaram. But that obviously didn't happen.
Sharwanand's shoulder surgery is already done and the talented actor is expected to be return home this weekend. Since most of the film shoots have been postponed due to the Coronavirus scare, the Jaanu hero is no longer in a hurry to comeback. Anyway, he has to rest for a couple of weeks before resuming work. We hear Sharwanand will start shooting for Sreekaram from next month onwards.
The movie is being helmed by first time director Kishore Reddy and also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead. The makers launched the film in June last year and the production work started from August onwards. Produced by 14 Reels Plus, the first look of Sreekaram came out on January 27 and the film is scheduled to release on April 24. But that may change considering the situation has gotten serious in regards to the Coronavirus outbreak.
