Tollywood's

actor
Viswant
Duddumpudi
was
recently
booked
by
Hyderabad
Police
for
cheating
people.
According
to
Telugu
Filmibeat,
a
number
of
victims
have
approached
the
cops
alleging
that
Viswant
took
cash
from
them
by
promising
to
provide
automobiles
at
a
low
cost.
The
victims
claimed
that
the
Jersey
actor
has
not
delivered
the
automobiles
to
them
yet.
After
the
victims'
complaint,
Banjara
Hills
police
have
registered
a
case
against
Vishwant.
According
to
PTI,
the
complaint
filed
by
a
victim
states
that
Viswant,
his
father
and
others
offered
him
the
car
worth
Rs
25
lakh
for
Rs
17
lakh
in
September
2017.
The
police
informed
news
agency
that
in
the
complaint
filed
on
January
8,
2021,
the
victim
said
that
he
paid
Rs
12.50
lakh
to
them
and
took
vehicle,
but
he
was
not
given
the
vehicle
ownership
documents.
After
the
enquiry,
the
man
found
out
that
the
actor
and
others
had
mortgaged
the
car's
documents
with
a
finance
firm.
Talking
about
Viswant
Duddumpudi's
career,
the
27-year-old
actor
made
his
Tollywood
debut
with
2015
film
Kerintha,
produced
by
Dil
Raju.
He
later
acted
in
Mohanlal
and
Gautami-starrer
Manamantha
(2016).
The
actor
also
featured
in
movies
like
Crazy
Crazy
Feeling,
Tholu
Bommalata
and
O
Pitta
Katha.
