Samantha Ruth Prabhu Leaves For The USA For A Minor Operation; Halts All Shootings!

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has not been in action for the last couple of weeks, in fact months. The sultry actress, who has brushed off her professional limits after separation from actor Naga Chaitanya, is reportedly in the USA following a severe alleged skin condition.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut in 2011 with Naga Chaitanya starrer Ye Maaya Chesave. With the film's success, the actress became the most-sought after female lead in Tollywood. During the time of Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, she fell sick and reports claimed that she was bedridden for about two months. She had a bad skin allergy, they said and Samantha discontinued her shooting for the abovementioned film. However, due to the support of the film's producer, she was able to finish her part after a gap of two months. Samantha clearly went under the knife before joining back on the sets, which was clearly visible from before and after pictures.

Needless to say, the kind-hearted actress is also a fitness freak and beauty enthusiast. She tries different kinds of cosmetic procedures to enhance her physical appearance. Several times, she took to her social media handles to share about a few of them.

The actress, who won appreciation for her bold and astounding performances, suddenly refrained from being active on her social media handles. She is a social media savvy person and posts updates of her personal and professional life on her Instagra and Twitter handles. Her latest post was about Yashoda, her upcoming film which she posted on August 31 and another on September 10 when the teaser was released. Given her round the clock social media presence, her sudden absence caused concerns among fans as well as raised a few eyebrows.

According to a few entertainment websites, the actress is again down with a severe skin infection. She needs to undergo an operation albeit a minor one, in order to get back to normalcy. Due to the same reason, Samantha, who was to join the sets of Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Kushi in the first week of September, couldn't do it. She assured the team that she will join them from September 15, and that didn't happen as well. The team, including director Shiva Nirvana, went ahead and shot for portions that Samantha isn't necessary.

Earlier, reacting to these rumours, Samantha's manager Mahendra also stated that the actress is suffering a bad skin infection and will be back very soon.

On the work front, Samantha will next be seen in Gunasekhar's period drama Saakunthalam, a thriller called Yashoda, and Kushi.
