2018 Everyone is a Hero AKA 2018 is one of the most profitable movies in the entire country in 2023 so far. Written and directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the movie's Telugu version was released on May 26 continuing its success streak at the box office.

The movie is inspired by the real-life events of people and their conflicts during the time of the Kerala floods. With high on emotions and gripping storytelling, the movie is winning applause from all over the country. 2018 also surpassed the 7-year-old record set by Mohanlal with his Pulimurugan movie. 2018 is officially the highest-grosser of Malayalam cinema so far.

2018 Story

The movie depicts the crisis and situations that arise in the lives of Noora, Anoop, Bhasi, Manju, Rameshan, Mathachan, and his son Winston among others as their situation gets worse with the state being hit by floods.

2018 Cast

The movie stars an ensemble cast including Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Lal, Narain, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, Kalaiyarasan, Harikrishnan, Aparna Balamurali, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Janardhan, Renji Panicker, Jaffar Idukki, and Vinitha Koshy among others in key roles.

2018 Box Office

The movie, which was made on a humble budget is technically sound, emotionally captivating, and is also an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Within eight days of its release in Telugu, the movie already made Rs 8.21 Crore Gross.

2018 Crew

Jude Anthany Joseph, who directed the movie co-wrote the script with Akhil P Dharmajan. The movie is produced by Venu Kunnappilly and CK Padma Kumar along with Anto Joseph under the Kavya Film Company and PK Prime Production banners.

2018 OTT Debut

The movie, which made unprecedented profit and acclaim will soon hit the OTT platform. SonyLIV has bought the digital streaming rights to the film. The movie will be premiered on June 7.

The music of the film and background score is composed by Nobin Paul. Akhil George and Chaman Chakko worked as the film's Cinematography and Editor of the film, respectively. The movie so far collected Rs 137 Crore at the Malayalam box office.
