India's Iconic star Allu Arjun is now one person who got all the reasons in the world to be on cloud nine. The actor won the 'Best Actor Award' at the 69th National Film Awards announced a while ago (August 24). The actor bagged the award for his portrayal of Pushpa Raj in 'Pushpa The Rise,' written and directed by Sukumar B.

The actor was overjoyed after the news arrived, and he is seemingly ecstatic, going by the video that is circulating all over the internet. Allu Arjun was seen becoming emotional and feeling out of the world as he hugged filmmaker Sukumar B, also his best friend and the director of Pushpa. The duo held on to each other for a while so as to take the big moment in. They have earlier collaborated for blockbuster films like Arya, and Arya 2.

Immediately, Allu Arjun hugged his father and touched his feet. His wife Sneha Reddy, children Ayaan and Arha were present on the spot, making for a cute family moment. Later, Allu Arjun greeted by the producers of Pushpa, Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers. SKN, and the actor's close friends and staff congratulated him. The celebrations are yet to begin.

Allu Arjun Becomes The First Telugu Actor To Win The National Best Actor Award (Tollywood)

The Stylish star not just bagged the Best Actor Award for his sheer hard work in portraying the role of Pushpa Raj in the epic Pushpa The Rise aka Pushpa Part 1, but also is the first ever hero (male actor) to win this award. The Tollywood is the only industry that didn't win an award in the Best Actor category from the Southern India till date, and Allu Arjun changed it.

The 41-year-old actor is going places with every film he makes. Allu Arjun is known to transform himself into the character that he plays. The hardworking actor ensures that he displays a unique look- hairstyle, styling, and body language, which is kind of rare for any actor to pull off all the time.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad also won his first National Award for the 'Best Music Director' category for the songs of Pushpa. Both the awardees from the Pushpa team will receive a Rajat Kamal, and a cash prize of Rs 50,000 during the awards ceremony that will take place shortly at New Delhi.
