7G Brundavan Colony Re-Release: Ravi Krishna Reveals He Only Saw The Film Once; Sequel In Pre-Production Stage

7G Brundavan Colony is a cult romantic musical love story that was released in November 2004. Written and directed by Selvaraghavan, featuring debutant Ravi Krishna as the protagonist, the movie attained a cult status over the years.

The movie is joining the re-release bandwagon of the Tollywood films. Owing to the success and the cult status 7G Brundavan Colony enjoys, it is almost fixed that the 4K version which is getting ready for the re-release is also going to be a huge hit.

After 19 years, 7G Brundavan Colony is going to be released again in the two Telugu-speaking states on September 22. Only a few select theatres will be screening the movie's 4K updated version.

Speaking on the occasion at the re-release meet, the producer of the movie, AM Ratnam said, "I have a good name in Tollywood for making films like Kartavyam, and Bharateeyudu. Of all the films I produced, 7G Brundavan Colony attained a cult status. I hope the re-release will give a new experience to the fans of the film who can watch it in an advanced version. The sequel for the movie is also on the cards and work will kick-start from October. The script is ready and director Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja will work on the sequel as well."

Actor Ravi Krishna said, "Looking at the re-release trailer, I became emotional. Memories are rushing. I was so attached to the character that I only watched the entire movie once. I couldn't watch the climax. I lived through Ravi's role while I was filming for it." He exuded confidence that the sequel will also be a heart-touching one and has been designed to suit the current times.

The movie stars Ravi Krishna, Sonia Agarwal, Suman Setty, Chandra Mohan, Sudha, Sudeepa Pinky, Savita Prabhune, and Manorama among others in prominent roles.
