Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Prabhas-Om Raut's Film On Ramayan Saga Witnesses Major Drop
Adipurush was shot in Telugu and Hindi but was released in five languages all over the world. The movie is one of the costliest films ever made in India which was promoted heavily on the religious aspect. Starting from the film's casting, to the poor VFX, dark and dull theme, subpar dialogues etc, the movie has nothing to offer except for its music, which makes one sit through the horrible narration of the epic Ramayan saga.
Adipurush Story
The epic is the story of Rama aka Raghav, who embarks on a defining journey from Ayodhya to Lanka, in a bid to rescue his kidnapped wife Sita aka Janaki. He has to defeat the mighty king of Lanka, Ravanasura aka Lankesh with the help of his disciple Hanuma aka Bajrang. The movie is based on the mythological depiction of the same by Valmiki in the Ramayana, a Hindu mythological scripture.
Adipurush Box Office Collection Prediction
Although the movie made a whopping Rs 300 Crore in the opening weekend all over the world and the bookings were astonishing, the movie couldn't hold the momentum at the theatres and box office. After the first weekend, the collections and occupancy ratio dipped drastrically. The movie's collection plummeted by about 75 percent.
On Sunday, the occupancy ratio as well as the collection decreased, contrary to the expectations of families thronging the theatres on first weekend. By the fourth day, the price hike on the tickets was withdrawn too.
