Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 8: Pan-India star Prabhas' latest periodic mythological drama based on Valmiki's Ramayana titled Adipurush hit the screens worldwide on June 16 to heavy criticism.

While there are many issues with the film starting from dialogues to poor VFX and improper casting and styling, people have shunned Adipurush not only as a mythological drama but also as a regular film that offers regular entertainment.

Adipurush Story

The story is this- about 7000 years ago, Ayodhya's prince Raghava (Prabhas) and his brother Lakshamana (Sunny Singh) set out on a journey to Lanka with the help of Bajrang (Devdatta Nage) to rescue Janaki (Kriti Sanon) from Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan).

After the hectic first two days of the Prabhas-starrer at the box office with a whopping collection and overwhelming response to the advance bookings, the movie fell flat on its third day at the ticket windows.
