Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Prabhas' Mythological Drama By Om Raut Continues To Descend!

Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 7: Adipurush, co-produced and directed by Om Raut starring Prabhas as Raghav, in the lead role continues to see an underwhelming response at the box office. It has been a week since its huge and grand theatrical release all over the world in five languages.

Prabhas' pan-Indian image was used to depict the age-old Hindu mythological drama of Lord Rama and his bravery in winning back his wife Sita Devi, by destroying Ravanasura and his kingdom Lanka. Adipurush is a modern take on the Ramayana episode which was depicted with the usage of modern and enhanced technology to enthrall the viewers, especially the generation X to Z.

Adipurush Story

The story is this- about 7000 years ago, Ayodhya's prince Raghava (Prabhas) and his brother Lakshamana (Sunny Singh) set out on a journey to Lanka with the help of Bajrang (Devdatta Nage) to rescue Janaki (Kriti Sanon) from Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan).

After the hectic first two days of the Prabhas-starrer at the box office with a whopping collection and overwhelming response to the advance bookings, the movie fell flat on its third day at the ticket windows.

While there are many issues with the film starting from dialogues to poor VFX and improper casting and styling, people have shunned Adipurush not only as a mythological drama but also as a regular film that offers regular entertainment.

In addition, in a couple of states across the Hindi belt, about 10,000 tickets were distributed for free while in the two Telugu-speaking states, the movie's ticket prices were hiked. After the first weekend, along with the free fall, the hiked prices were also slashed.

Along with Prabhas, the movie stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan in the powerful role of Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, Vatsal Sheth as Meghanada, Sonal Chauhan, and Trupti Toradmal in key roles.

The movie was made under the T-Series Films and Retrophiles banners by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. Karthik Palani cranked the camera for the film. Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre worked as the film's editors. The movie's background score is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. Ajay-Atul and Sachet-Parampara composed the tunes.
