Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Prabhas-Om Raut's Ramayan Tale Pins Hopes On Opening Weekend

The socio-fantasy movie Adipurush is the epic tale of Ramayana in which Ram goes to retrieve his kidnapped wife Sita, who has been captivated and kept in Lanka by Ravanasura. Originally written by Valmiki, the latest adaptation of the movie by Om Raut starring pan-India star Prabhas released worldwide on June 16.

Upon its theatrical release, Adipurush enraged several spiritual organizations, fans of the actor, and movie buffs who are upset with the way the characterizations have been designed, the film's poor VFX, dialogues, etc. The younger generation have been criticising the movie and seem like they know more than the film's director Om Raut.

Adipurush was released all over the world in five languages on over 7000 screens. The movie recorded a massive day 1 worldwide collection by making about Rs 140 Crore. On the second day, the movie however slowed down in terms of collections. On the last day of the opening weekend, that is on Sunday, the movie is expected to make even lesser amount that its two previous days.

Adipurush Cast

Along with Prabhas, the movie stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan in the powerful role of Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, Vatsal Sheth as Meghanada, Sonal Chauhan, and Trupti Toradmal in key roles.

Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre worked as the film's editors. The movie's background score is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. Ajay-Atul and Sachet-Parampara composed the tunes.
