Adipurush Faces Heavy Dip At BO: Due to the controversy and negative reviews of the movie 'Aadipurush' yesterday (June 20) in India, it was lagging behind by collecting only Rs. 10 crores.

Aadipurush is a movie directed by Om Raut based on a part of Ramayana story. It stars Prabhas as Rama, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana and Kirti Sanon as Sita. This film, made in 3D technology, was released in theaters on June 16 in 5 languages simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is receiving negative reviews and fans are commenting that the graphics work is too bad.

Film Team Says 375 Crores

The film team announced that the film collected Rs.140 crores on the first day. On the second day, it was reported to have collected Rs.240 crore. The film team had announced that it collected Rs.340 crores worldwide in three days. In this case, there was a controversy about the dialogues of the film on one side and negative reviews on the other side.

Box office reports says that the film collected Rs. 86 crore on the first day, Rs. 65 crore on the 2nd day, and Rs. 69 crore on the 3rd day, Rs. 16 crore on the 4th day and Rs. 10 crores on its 5th day. The film team has officially announced that the film has collected Rs.375 crores in the last 4 days. It is noteworthy that the total budget of the film is Rs.500 crores. Netizens say that the film team is giving fake numbers to attract audience.

Ban For Adipurush

In this case, the All India Cine Association has protested saying that the scenes and dialogues of the film are defamatory of Ramayana, Sri Rama and Hanuman. They have requested Prime Minister Modi to stop the screening of the film immediately and ban the film to protect the honors of Sri Rama, Sita, Hanuman and Hindu sentiments from being insulted.
