Akkineni Akhil's Long Delayed Movie By Surender Reddy, Agent's Digital Rights Sold Away To This OTT!

Akkineni Akhil is another youngster from the Akkineni family trying real hard to score a massive success to establish himself as a bankable star. Akhil and his half-brother Naga Chaitanya are continuing their efforts to attain star status in Tollywood while Nagarjuna is still one of the ruling veterans of Telugu film industry.

Although the youngster is a couple of films old, other than 'Most Eligible Bachelor' starring Pooja Hegde, none of his films performed well at the box office. Most Eligible Bachelor helmed by Bommarillu Bhaskar managed to earn him acclaim as an actor when it was released in 2021.

Akhil is now gearing up to hit the screens with director Surender Reddy-Vakkantham Vamsi's combination film titled 'Agent.' The movie stars Malayalam superstar Mammootty in a keyrole. Sakshi Vaidya is making her acting debut through this film.

Agent was filmed in different locations around Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Manali, and in Budapest. The release of the film has been postponed several times before the makers finally locked April 23. As per the latest updates, we hear that digital streaming rights of the film have been sold to SonyLIV platform.

Agent also stars Bollywood actor Dino Morea, Vikramjeet Virk and several others. The movie is cinematographer by Rasool Ellore, who is a popular cameraman before becoming a director with Srikanth-starrer Okariki Okaru. Naveen Nooli is the editor of the film. Hiphop Tamizha composed the film's soundtrack and music. Ramabrahmam Sunkara produced the movie under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema banners.
