Amid Divorce Rumours, Take A Look Back At Luxury Destination Wedding Expenses Of Niharika Konidela & Chaitanya

All is not well, yet again, with the mega-daughter Niharika Konidela. The actress-turned-producer, who married Chaitanya JV in an elaborate luxury destination wedding in 2020, is reportedly heading for a divorced husband Chaitanya JV. The duo hit the headlines again for their alleged separation rumours after they unfollowed each other on social media handles. Chaitanya is also said to have deleted all of the wedding pictures from his Instagram account.

Chaitanya JV is the son of an IPS officer and Niharika got engaged to each other in August 2020 in Hyderabad. Their wedding took place at the Udaivilas Palace in three days events. They have booked a part of the palace for a whopping amount for the entire duration. The lawn area of the heritage hotel itself sets one back by about Rs 80 Lakh for an evening.

In Udaipur Palace, Niharika and Chaitanya's traditional Haldi, Mehendi, Cocktail party, and traditional Telugu wedding took place, amid close family and friends. The entire Konidela-Allu family flew down to the city to take part in the wedding festivities. The families of the bride and groom flew in a private jet to the venue. Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha also hopped on a private plane for the event.

Before that, at Hyderabad's house of the bride in Manikonda, Niharika's 'Mangala snanam' and 'Pelli kuthuru' functions were held grandly. Niharika chose to wear a recycled saree of her mother from her wedding to Naga Babu, for one such event.

For the Mehendi, the couple was clad in designer Aisha Rao's specially color-coordinated ensembles. For the cocktail, Niharika wore an Amit Aggarwal emerald green gown. For the muhurtham, a golden silk saree with a pastel pink embellished blouse was opted by Niharika. To keep up with the grandeur-looking theme, Chaitanya wore a brocade silk Sherwani in mauve color. Niharika donned layers of diamond and gold jewelry for all these events.

The couple threw a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad again. The entire Tollywood and Telugu television actors, actresses, anchors, and technicians were seen posing with the couple at the event. Niharika donned a pastel green Manish Malhotra lehenga for the event and decked up in Polki diamond jewelry. Niharika and Chaitanya's wedding trousseau put together was worth several lakhs of rupees. The entire event must have cost almost a whopping Rs 30 Crore, according to a report on News 18.

Niharika Konidela pursued acting for a little time. She debuted with Naga Shaurya starrer 'Oka Manasu' in 2016. The movie didn't do well at the box office. However, she went on to star in a couple of films like Happy Wedding, Suryakantham, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. She made her Tamil debut with Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren' in 2018. Later, the bubbly girl, who first dabbled as a Television host for a dance reality show on ETV, ventured into production.

Niharika floated a production company named Pink Elephant Productions in 2015. Post her wedding, Niharika quit acting and only focused full-time on making web series for OTTs and movies.
