Amigos Day 4 Box Office Collection: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Action Thriller Fails The Weekend Test!

After Bimbisara, an unexpected blockbuster film from Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the fans of the Nandamuri clan and movies, in general, have expected the actor to continue the success with his next outing, Amigos. An action thriller based on the novel concept of the doppelgangers, the movie written and directed by debut director Rajendra Reddy failed to perform at the box office as expected, albeit garnering mixed reviews upon its theatrical release.

The movie which stars Ashika Ranganath in her Tollywood debut was released all over the world on more than 700 screens on February 10. The movie managed a secure Rs 3.2 Crore on the release day but the footfalls and the figures simultaneously dropped from the following days. The movie also failed miserably in the USA.

The movie Amigos is the story of three doppelgangers, played effortlessly by Kalyan Ram in an impressive way, who cross each other's paths in a dramatic set-up. Manjunath Hegde, Siddharth, and Michael become friends and the rest of them help Siddharth woo Ishika, played by Ashika. However, a twist in the tale arises when Siddharth and Manjunath find out a shocking side of Michael.

The movie stars Sapthagiri, Brahmaji, etc in crucial roles. The film's technical team includes S Soundar Rajan as the cinematographer, Ghibran as the entire soundtrack composer, and Tammiraju as the editor. Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni bankrolled the film under the Mythri Movie Makers banners, which produced super successful films like Pushpa, Waltair Veerayya, and Veera Simha Reddy recently.
