Ranbir Kapoor & Sandeep Reddy Vanga's latest highly emotional action drama Animal movie pre-release event was held in Hyderabad at Malla Reddy University campus on November 27. The entire cast and crew of this much-awaited film were present on the occasion. The presence of superstar Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli added the oomph to the event.

Chamakura Malla Reddy, known as Malla Reddy, a politician of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, has been an educationalist. He is now the Minister for Labour and Employment for the government since 2018.

As the pre-release event was held at Malla Reddy University, he was one of the honorable guests and he seized the opportunity to become an overnight sensation. His untimely and uncalled-for comments about Tollywood-Bollywood comparisons have given rise to a heavy and brutal level of trolling.

While it was understandable why Minister Malla Reddy had made such remarks, the entire speech became a full meme material to the Telugu people. But, non-Telugu people didn't feel the same way and had come up with tweets slamming him for doing that 'Tollywood-Bollywood' thing.

Here's What Happened

Referring to Ranbir Kapoor, Malla Reddy said, "I want to say this. In another 5 years, our Telugu people will rule Bollywood, Hollywood, and all the India. You might also have to shift to Hyderabad in a couple of years. Mumbai has become old and Bengaluru is full of traffic. There is only one city in Hindustan, that is Hyderabad. Telugu people are full of heart and smart. We have such amazing talent like Rajamouli, Dil Raju, and now Sandeep has come. Hindusthan will now rule Hollywood and Bollywood."

Mahesh Babu, SS Rajamouli, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju and others were present for the pre-release event. Animal will hit the screens worldwide to super high expectations on December 1. Check out some tweets here.
