Director BV Nandini Reddy, who made her grand directorial debut with Ala Modalaindi, is tilted towards family stories and dramas that unfold intense emotions. Her latest drama is Anni Manchi Sakunamule, starring Malvika Nair and Santosh Sobhan in the lead characters.

The movie, which had a great buzz ahead of its theatrical release, hit the screens on May 18, across India and the world. However, a plethora of notable and renowned actors couple with a story of familial drama and middle-class emotions, struggles and love story, failed to deliver as expected.
