Baby movie starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin, is continuing to perform well at the box office even after two weeks. Written and directed by Sai Rajesh, the movie secured a massive hit and money against the invested budget.

The movie's performances, music, and the set-up are extensively praised but dialogues and characterizations are debated. During the success meet of the event in which Allu Arjun, the iconic star spoke at length about every actor and technician who worked for Baby, mentioned that an actor didn't event want to listen to the script when he was approached by the director.

Speaking at the trailer release event recently, Vishwak Sen tried to explain his side of the story about saying no to the Baby movie. He went on, "We are busy in our lifestyle and when we don't have clarity, we don't want to waste time. That is when I decided to not waste anybody's time.

I am not a biryani to make everybody happy. One more thing, if our movie performs, we should feel proud and if any Telugu movie scores a hit, especially a small film, it is an achievement. I have congratulated the entire team.

We have a directors' WhatsApp group. Fortunately, I am also a member of that group. I am the first person to have congratulated them on the trailer, in the group when it came out. To call someone and waste their one hour only to say no at the end, I preferred saying no before itself. It is my personal choice not that the movie isn't good. But we shouldn't belittle someone just because our movie did well, I felt bad for the same," added Vishwak Sen.

Meanwhile, we all know how Baby is continuing to enthrall the people of the two Telugu states as well as the film buffs worldwide, with its stellar music, background score, and performances.

The movie, which was made on a tight yet decent budget was in the making since the COVID-19 pandemic. The unit shot for two years under difficult conditions. They also waited for so long to release the movie at an appropriate time. Finally, Baby hit the screens worldwide on July 14. A night before, the filmmakers organized special premieres in all important cities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, for word-of-mouth to go around.

For Baby, the positive response rippled and led to becoming one of the most profitable ventures in Tollywood in 2023. Sai Rajesh, who won the National Award for Colour Photo movie directed by Sandeep Raj, earlier made films like Hrudaya Kaaleyam and Kobbari Matta, spoof comedies starring Sampoornesh Babu.
