Anand Deverakonda-starrer teenage romantic drama 'Baby' is finally going to hit the screens on July 15, all over the world. The movie is written and directed by Sai Rajesh, who made 'Hrudaya Kaaleyam', and 'Kobbari Matta,' making Sampoornesh Babu an actor.

Baby movie was shot long ago and the movie unit worked about a year and a half on the film. The makers didn't want to risk it and waited for so long to release the movie.

Meanwhile, the first single, 'O Rendu Prema Meghalu' was released to a thumping response to the music lovers. The song was an instant hit and is continuing to enthral the viewers to date. The hype around the film is just because of its music, initially.

The filmmakers released the theatrical trailer of Baby on July 7, on the occasion of the film's producer SKN's birthday. The trailer was released to a thumping response from the film buffs. The trailer is trending at number 2 on YouTube (At the time of the report).

Meanwhile, the movie, which showcased its female lead as a naive brown-skinned girl at first in love with the hero who discontinues education and becomes an auto-driver, is shown getting exposed to urban life in the second part of the trailer. She is then depicted as a stylish woman with an improved skin tone, growing far from her first love while befriending a rich guy from college.

A Twitter user reacted to the trailer saying, "Even fair and lovely changed its name to glow and lovely after the outrage but we still see movies like #BabyTheMovie doing brown face white face in 2023. This is what happens when you make a YouTube short into a feature film. (sic)"

Anand Deverakonda, brother of Vijay Deverakonda reacted to the comment saying, "Hot take, but mostly an unnecessary / woke take.
