Written and directed by Clax in his directorial debut, Bedurulanka 2012, a comedy-thriller starring Kartikeya Gummakonda hit the screens on August 25. The movie is receiving a decent response at the box office.

Despite an old format story, the set up of an apocalypse dated in 2012, a village, and generous dose of comedy made Bedurulanka 2012 an interesting watch. The film's background score and music are composed by Mani Sharma. Performances of Kartikeya, Neha Shetty, Ajay Ghosh, and Satya are receiving acclaim.

Bedurulanka 2012 Story

As the title suggests, the movie is about a village named Bedurulanka, an island by the coastal region. It is set in the backdrop of the infamous world's end on December 21, 2012. The movie depicts the greedy self od Bhushanam, a village head who tries to cash in on the fear of the people owing to the alleged apocalypse. Shiva, the protagonist along with his friends in the village exposes the truth.
