Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer Bhagavanth Kesari, written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, had a long and super solid opening weekend at the box office. The movie which hit the screens on October 19 alongside Thalapathy Vijay's Leo stood its ground and earned positive word-of-mouth. Balakrishna earned a hat trick at the box office, becoming the only veteran of the Tollywood industry to achieve the feat of gaining USD 1 million at the USA box office.

Bhagavanth Kesari Premise

Nelakonda Bhagavanth Kesari is a doting guardian-like parent to his niece Viji (Sreeleela), and he encourages her to pursue her dream of joining the Indian Army. However, things turn unimaginable for the duo when Bhagavanth Kesari locks horns with a highly influential business magnate Rahul Sanghvi (Arjun Rampal).
