Bhagavanth Kesari is the latest action entertainer of Nandamuri Balakrishna, who collaborated for the first time with talented director Anil Ravipudi. The duo set expectations high for this family action drama, which is going to be released worldwide on October 19 for Dussehra.

The movie features Kajal Aggarwal and Sreeleela as the two female lead characters. For Bhagavanth Kesari, Balakrishna and Kajal Aggarwal are paired for the second time. Sreeleela will be seen in the film as Bhagavanth Kesari's niece. In director Anil Ravipudi's words, "Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in a different role which he never tried before. He plays a father-like role for Sreeleela and the movie makes you emotional."

Bhagavanth Kesari Premise

Nelakonda Bhagavanth Kesari is a doting guardian-like parent to his niece Viji (Sreeleela), and he encourages her to pursue her dream of joining the Indian Army. However, things turn unimaginable for the duo when Bhagavanth Kesari locks horns with a highly influential business magnate Rahul Sanghvi (Arjun Rampal).

Despite his last film making super profits, Nandamuri Balakrishna refused to take a hike for Bhagavanth Kesari, reportedly. So, the veteran took him his usual Rs 20 Crore for this film with Anil Ravipudi.

Kajal Aggarwal, who is playing the role of Kathyayani in the movie was one of the highest-paid actresses in Tollywood. For this film, the Indian 2 actress is paid Rs 2 Crore.

Sreeleela, the one and only sought-after actress in the Telugu cinema right now played the role of Viji aka Vijayalakshmi in the movie. The craze for this dancing sensation is growing with each film she signed and for Bhagavanth Kesari, she is taking home Rs 1.5 Crore in remuneration.

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal is making his Telugu debut with the role of an antagonist Rahul Sanghvi. For the same, the actor, who also dubbed his lines in Telugu was paid about Rs 3 Crore.

R Sarathkumar was estimated to have been paid Rs 2 Crore.
