Bhola Shankar, Chiranjeevi's upcoming mass action drama is gearing up to
hit the screens worldwide on August 11. The movie is directed by Meher Ramesh, which marks his first collaboration with the veteran.

As Chiranjeevi scored a career's biggest hit with this year's Sankranti release 'Waltair Veerayya,' fans of the megastar are excited for the movie which has already struck a chord with its songs. 'Bhola Mania' is one of the recent chartbusters from the film which received great response.

Bhola Shankar is a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam starring Ajith. It was directed by Siva and was released in 2015. Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh are playing the two female lead characters in the film. Keerthy Suresh is playing the role of Mahalakshmi, Bhola Shankar's sister in the film.

Bhola Shankar moves to Kolkata with his adopted sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthy Suresh) for her education. However, unbeknownst to others, Shankar is also on a personal mission and is a former gangster. Along with Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah, and Keerthy Suresh, the movie also features Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Shawar Ali, Tarun Arora, Vennela Kishore, Sreemukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Rashmi Gautam, Getup Srinu, Uttej, and Tulasi among others in prominent roles.

Ramabrahman Sunkara and KS Rama Rao bankrolled the movie under the AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials banner. Zee Studios is distributing the movie.
