Bhola Shankar is a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam starring Ajith. It was directed by Siva and was released in 2015. Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh are playing the two female lead characters in the film with Chiranjeevi. Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the role of Mahalakshmi, Bhola Shankar's sister in the film.

Along with Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah, and Keerthy Suresh, the movie also features Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Shawar Ali, Tarun Arora, Vennela Kishore, Sreemukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Rashmi Gautam, Getup Srinu, Uttej, and Tulasi among others in prominent roles.
